Hey fam! What videos do you want to see next?
Hi, Roz, Can you do a video on The phoenix please :-)
Hi! Thank you for making this series! I'd love to learn more tips on coaching different spins. Also, maybe some information on how to determine when a student is ready for inverting?
Hi Kira! I will def be adding more spins to the library this summer. If there are specific ones you want to see, let me know!
Regarding invert readiness, I would say that if a student is doing some version of pull ups on their own, give it a whirl. When you start with a two person spot, you can start this with any student fairly early (maybe 2-3 months in?). Be sure to remind students that inverting is the fucking worst thing in the world, so if it takes months and years, that's very common!
Best Plus Size warmups before doing pole!
Good question. I warm up my +size students the same way I'd warm up everyone else -- lots of core! As you get everyone ready, I would call out which muscles you're working and how they will help in the long run. Also, AVOID PLOWS at all costs. That upside down boob meat cuts off oxygen to the brain, lol.
Hey Roz! Any way for shoulder rolls to get easier for plus size gal? I feel like my head is gonna pop off from my boobs.
Also any other tips for climbing as far as hand placement, knee meat/leg placement, etc?
Also getting more comfortable on spin pole for plus size would be cool…
Hey Roz, I'm so glad to have found your site. I'm not plus size myself but definitely want to know best practices for my plus size students. The tips you have posted are so helpful and can't wait to see more.
Thank you
This makes my heart sing, Xavier! I have a revamped library debuting at the end of summer. Thanks!
Hi, Roz, I have gone through all of the videos I can find on your site and they are so good :-) but I need more please :-)
I'm also not plus size myself but definitely want to know best practices for my plus size students.
Hi Roz, I'd love to see a tutorial for beginner pole sits! I also want to say your videos have made a huge impact on my ability to teach all students and make everything as accessible as possible. So far I have a 100% success rate with students getting their first climb because of your tutorials :)
